You'll be talking to the people who work hereNot a call center in another state. If your question isn't here, call and ask.Call (720) 807-2066PTSD often follows one event. Complex PTSD comes from repeated or long-term trauma, and adds lasting struggles with emotions, self-worth and relationships. The plan looks different for each, so we work out which one fits your history at the pre-assessment, before anything else is decided.
Read about PTSD treatment in LakewoodYes. The World Health Organization's ICD-11 recognizes it as its own diagnosis. The US DSM-5-TR doesn't list it separately, so your chart may say PTSD, or something else entirely. That difference is about how the manuals are organized, and it doesn't change how seriously we take what you have lived through.
Read what happens during a mental health evaluationIt might be. Complex PTSD is often misdiagnosed as depression, anxiety or a personality disorder, because those are what the surface looks like. Our team re-evaluates past diagnoses and builds care around what we actually find, rather than inheriting a label. You don't need any diagnosis at all to start.
Read about psychiatric evaluationIt suits people who are safe at home but need more than weekly therapy. As C-PTSD treatment for people across the Denver area, it gives you about ten hours a week across three mornings and one individual session, with the same team throughout. If you need support around the clock, we'll tell you honestly and help you find the right place.
What level of trauma care do I actually need?Accelerated Resolution Therapy with our clinical director, Hannah Bingler, who is trained in ART, plus cognitive behavioral therapy, emotional regulation and coping skills training, group and individual therapy, and family support and education. Your plan uses the pieces that fit you, and it changes as your weekly check-ins do.
Read about individual therapyThe clinician at your pre-assessment explains how group works and what to expect, so you know before you walk in rather than finding out on the day. Bring any worries about sharing to that conversation. Your weekly individual session is also there for what you would rather talk through one to one.
Book a free pre-assessmentWe accept Colorado Access, Cigna, Anthem, BCBS PPO, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, Tricare West and Kaiser Medicaid. Medicare isn't one of the plans we can accept; if that's your coverage, admissions can talk through other options with you.
Start your insurance checkEvery week you complete Track 9, a short check-in, so you and your clinician look at the same score over time. When the scores move, you can both see it. When they don't, your plan changes rather than staying the same. Your scores are yours, and they are reviewed with you, not about you.
